Man accused of trying to lure three girls in the Bronx identified by cops
Police have identified a suspected predator accused of trying to lure away three girls in the Bronx Wednesday morning — telling one he would take her shopping if she went with him.
Osita Enweronye, 26, approached the girls aged 11, 12 and 13 in one skeezy spree on Allerton Ave. between 7:45 a.m and 8:05 a.m., police said.
Cops have linked Enweronye to another, similar episode last month, in which he allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old's girl arm on the same strip.
In all four cases, the girls fled, and no injuries were reported.

An Alabama city now says people who violate its bathroom ordinance could face jail time
In recent weeks, fights have raged in North Carolina and beyond over “bathroom bills” mandating that people use restrooms matching the gender on their birth certificates. One small city in Alabama just jumped into the fray and, in what may be a first, added what may be a new feature to
its bathroom measure: jail time.
The city council in Oxford, Ala., voted Tuesday to adopt an ordinance that would make it a crime for transgender people to use a public bathroom or changing facility different from the one on their birth certificate.
The new ordinance, posted online by the Anniston Star newspaper, also says that anyone violating the ordinance could face up to six months in jail or a $500 fine.Mount Aso volcano appears to have been the hardest hit by the second earthquake.

Search ends for 2 teens swept to sea at San Francisco beach
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Rescuers have called off a search for two teenage boys who were swept out to sea while playing in the surf at San Francisco's Ocean Beach.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1TZ1Myt) the boys, both 17 years old, were presumed drowned Saturday after rescue teams from the Coast Guard and the San Francisco Fire Department failed to find them during a nearly five-hour search.
Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Baxter said no recovery effort will continue Sunday. He said the boys' families understood what likely happened to them.
The boys had run into the surf with three other friends when they were pulled by a strong wave. Their friends made it back to shore and were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Russia denies wrongdoing after jet barrel-rolls over U.S. aircraft
A U.S. Air Force reconnaissance plane was barrel-rolled by a Russian jet over the Baltic Sea during a routine flight in international airspace, U.S. European Command said Saturday, but Russia disputed that account.
The incident Thursday occurred when a Russian jet "performed erratic and aggressive maneuvers" as it flew within 50 feet of the U.S. aircraft's wing tip, Danny Hernandez, a spokesman for U.S. European Command, said in a response to a question from CNN.
The Russian Su-27 began the barrel roll from the left side of the U.S. RC-135 and went over the top of it to end on the right side of the aircraft, European Command said.
The RC-135 aircraft was "intercepted by a Russian SU-27 in an unsafe and unprofessional manner," Hernandez said, adding that the U.S. plane never entered Russian territory.

Jessica Lowndes, 27, and Jon Lovitz, 58, say they're engaged
Actress and singer-songwriter Jessica Lowndes is turning lots of heads, but this time it's not because of her talent.
In a series of recent Instagram posts, the former "90210" star, 27, teased followers about a new man in her life and even posted a photo of a diamond engagement ring.
But it seems the "engagement" that captured the Internet Monday is merely a ruse to promote a music video.
